Social Selling Index calculator
Your LinkedIn Social Selling Index from its four pillar scores, and the pillar where the next points are cheapest to win.
How to use the result
Work on the weakest pillar
Points are cheapest where you have the most left. One pillar from 8 to 16 moves the total more than two strong pillars nudged up.
Check it once a month
The score moves from day to day, so one reading is noise. Compare month to month.
Treat it as a signal, not a goal
The SSI measures activity on LinkedIn, not revenue. Use it to see which habit slipped, not as a target for the team.
How this tool works
LinkedIn's Social Selling Index has four pillars: establish your professional brand, find the right people, engage with insights, and build relationships. Each pillar scores from 0 to 25, so the total is out of 100.
The calculator adds the four scores you read on your LinkedIn SSI dashboard and finds the pillar with the most points left to win. LinkedIn keeps its scoring formula private and publishes no target score, so the tool gives no grade.
LinkedIn Sales Solutions scores the SSI on four pillars, each worth up to 25 points, for a total out of 100. LinkedIn publishes no benchmark for a good score, so this tool does not invent one. The advice per pillar is ours, not LinkedIn's formula, which it keeps private.
